At last there is a really practical solution for people who have been unable to wear their precious rings due to swollen knuckles.

1. Ring closed and locked
2. Unfasten safety catch with fingernail and open it fully
3. Squeeze shank between thumb and forefinger just above hinge and catch
4. Shank springs open
5. Open ring can now be fitted to or removed from finger
